The 2011 Devon County ASA Championships concluded on the 20th of March. Exmouth Swimming and Life Saving Society’s David Thompson qualified for the 50m Butterfly Championship final. He finished 5th with a time of 27.76, the winner’s time was 26.79. Also in the medals was Jack Moss who came second in the 15 year age group also for 50m Butterfly. Jack also achieved a PB for his 200m Freestyle on the same day.
Other club swimmers, George Cornwell-Brown took 3 seconds off his 200 Backstroke time and a second from his 100m Individual Medley time. Liam Spiller although not getting a PB for the 100 Individual Medley event swam in the 14 year age group finals coming 6th overall. George, Jack and Ross Warburton all swam to new personal best times in the 100 Backstroke.
