Exmouth Swimming and Life Saving Society held its annual Starcross to Exmouth swim on Wednesday 5th August. 21 swimmers took to the water in the 2 mile tidally assisted swim from Starcross Jetty to Carlton Slipway and Exmouth beach.

Each swimmer was accompanied by a kayak escort for the duration of the swim. Swimmers experienced some good weather for the swim with the sun shining for the duration, although in the final stages as swimmers passed the docks conditions became more choppy. All 21 swimmers successfully completed the swim, some of whom were competing in open water for the first time.
