The first weekend in April saw swimmers from Exmouth Swimming and Life Saving Society compete in the Devon County ASA Sprint competition. Every swimmer had to swim all four strokes over a distance of 50 metres. In the 14 year boy’s age group Lima Spiller took 2nd place, George Cornwell-Brown took 5th in the 13 year old age group and Eve Birrell was 5th in the 14 year old girls. Given the number of entries on the day they are to be congratulated. All together the swimmers came home with 89 personal best swims over 25 metres and 50 metres. The other swimmers taking part were; Ada Taggart, Kiera Jordan, Sophie Spiller, Jessica Morrison, Joshua Smith, Jasmine Simpson Currie, Oliver Hopkins, Katharine Cornwell-Brown, Henry Cornwell-Brown, Lewis Webb, Aidan Spiller, Beth Cordy, Amber Morrison, Ashleigh Hees, Joseph Schunck, Kaylee Sprigmore and Harry Humphries.
The squad were wearing their new Club shirts for the first time, part of the cost of which was paid for by Budgens.
