East Devon Mini League |

Exmouth Swimming and Lifesaving Society travelled to Exeter to take part in the first leg of the East Devon Mini-League. This is a competition held between the same teams over 3 events. The team achieved a comfortable first place with 255 points. Paignton were 2nd with 241, Newton Abbot 3rd with 213, Torquay 4th with 210 and Dawlish 5th with 197 points.
The swimmers taking part achieved 25 personal best swims and it is thought that the boys 14 and under Medley and Freestyle teams have set new Club records for their times. The team achieved 20 first places.
Head Coach Dave Smith said, "Well done to the whole team, a fantastic result from a brilliant team effort."
First places were achieved by: Daisy O'Loughlin x 2, Finbar Roberts x 2, Sam Gard, Jake Gilbody, Jake Stuart, Will Flinn, Jack Moss, Hamilton Easton, Richard Barnard, Boys 14u medley (Jake Stuart, Oly Daw, Edward Taylor and James Flockhart), girls 16u Medley (Rachael Cooper, Daisy O'Loughlin, Sam Gard and Zoe Moss), Boys 16u medley(Hamilton Easton, Oly Daw, Finbar Roberts and Edward Taylor), Boys 12u Free and Medley (Ross Warburton, Owen Flinn, Jake Gilbody and Jack Moss), Boys 16u free (Jake Stuart, Finbar Roberts, Hamilton Easton and James Flockhart), Girls 12u free(Martha Ellett, Elzani Singleton, Eve Birrell and Isabell Mitchell) Boys 14u free (Jake Stuart, James Flockhart, Hamilton Easton and Edward Taylor), mixed B Cannon(Amber Morrison, Richard Barnard, Elzani Singleton, Jake Gilbody, Kezia Smith, Hamilton Easton, Zoe Moss and Jake Stuart). |
